Stopping redundant procedures at the source

One of the reasons healtcare insurance costs continue to rise is that there are so many unnecessary or duplicate tests and procedures being performed.

With the advent of PHD much of this redundancy becomes immediately apparent so it can be stopped at the doctor's office. When a doctor plugs a patient's device into their computer they will automatically have access to every test, prescription, x-ray, MRI, etc, the patient may have received from a different doctor. There will be no reason, and no excuse, for repeating anything that has been recently done.

The use of PHD will be a very cost effective method of ensuring such redundancy is halted at the source.
